The Rutherford Chamber Consort
The Rutherford Chamber Consort is a professional arts organization, dedicated to bringing great chamber music to the Carolina Foothills. The musicians perform, or have performed, with many symphony and opera orchestras. Regionally, players perform actively in Charlotte, Greenville, Asheville, Charleston, Spartanburg, Brevard, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, & the North Carolina Symphony. They have performed across the country in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and California.
Ensembles outside the U.S. that have utilized their talents are found in Italy, England, Scotland, Belgium, France, Russia, Ukraine, Ecuador, and Peru.
The diverse experiences of each player help to enrich their musical perception and performance.
